CBSA Reporting Patterns IT Limitations

A high number of cargoes reported per voyage causes transaction failures due to excessive processing, slowing down the operational workflow.

In order to successfully transmit large amounts of data CBSA recommended to transmit the cargo reports as early as possible; considering sending large data outside of regular hours and in small batches.

Considering communicating in advance with the CBSA office of arrival and/or release of high-volumes shipments on single commercial conveyances.
